Farewell, sweet buffalo

Robert "Empire" Falls' Broadway revival of American Buffalo starring John Leguizamo, Cedric the Entertainer and Haley Joel Osment will be closing on Sunday, less than a week after opening.

It's a shame, really, since I thought Haley Joel Osment and David Mamet were a match made in heaven.

It must be strange for Falls to be associated with such a spectacular failure. And poor David Mamet must be rolling in his grave.

I'm still waiting for Michael Richards to do "Edmond".

I'd pay to see that. And when is someone going to bring back "Lakeboat'?
