The Goodman Theatre has announced a rather unique partnership with the Mayor's Office of Special Events for the Chicago Outdoor Film Festival's screening of Duck Soup on Tuesday, July 21st in Grant Park: they are trying to break the Guinness Book of World Record of "the most people wearing Groucho Marx glasses." The previous record of 4,077 was set at a fundraiser in Springfield, Missouri in July of 2007.Audience members can pick up their free Groucho glasses beginning at 5pm and must wear them for at least 10 consecutive minutes beginning at 8pm.
I'm not kidding! Really!
